The Classes of Indeclinable

Belonging to the الْمَبْنِيّ are all the الْحُرُوْف (particles) and like wise the الأًَفْعَال (verbs) and some words from the الأَسْمَاء (nouns) some of which are called “الضَّمَائِر” (personal pronouns) like “أَنَا” (I), “أَنْتَ” {you (masc. sing.)} and “هُوَ” (he), and some of which (are called) “الأَسْمَاءِ الْمَوْصُوْلَةِ” (relative pronouns), like “الَّذِيْ” {that which, who (masc. sing.)} and “الَّتِيْ” {that which, who (fem. sing.)}, and some of which is called “أَسْمَاء الإِشَارَةِ” (indicative/demonstrative pronouns), like “هَذَا” {(this (masc. sing.)} and “هَذِهِ” {this (fem. sing.)}, and some of which are called “أَسْمَاء الشَّرْطِ” (conditional pronouns),like “مَنْ” (whosoever) and “مَهْمَا” (whatever).

Explanation:

You already know that the الْكَلِمَات are not all مَبْنِيَّة (indeclinable) nor all مُعْرَبَة (declinable). Rather, some of them are مَبْنِيّ and some of them are مُعْرَب . Also, it has been mentioned to you previously that the الْكَلِمَات are of three types: أَفْعَال (verbs), أَسْمَاء (nouns) and حُرُوْف (particles).
