• Basic rules Generally, to make a regular relative adjective from a noun all you need is to add kasrah to the last letter of the noun then append the يّ yy to it.
• We will go these endings and basic rules now

If the regular noun end in taa marbuuta ـة / ة, i.e. feminine form, drop the taa marbuuta and add yyيّ to the end of the word.

Relative Adjectives of Common Irregular nouns:

Nouns that include a weak letter 7arfu 3ilah  حَرْفُ عِلَّة (i.e. ء  , ي , و ا)

1-   Nouns that end in an alif :

If a noun is a three-letter word ending in an alif, change the alif   to waaw و   add  -yyيّ   to the ending of the noun .

If a noun is a four-letter word ending an alif, drop the alif and add -yy يّ,to the ending of the noun. Let us see some examples:

If a noun is a five-or-more-letter word ending in an alif, drop the alif before adding Yaa يّ yy, to the ending of the noun.

2- Nouns that end in yaa ي:
If a noun is a three-letter word ending in yaa, the ي is taken out and replaced with waaw و prior to adding the يّ of attribution, as in these examples:

3- Nouns ending in alif mamduudah, alif proceeded by hamzah اء:
1f the hamzah is part of the noun and derived verb form, add يّ to the ending of the noun to form the relative adjectives, Let us see some examples:
